Associate Professor, Department of Economics, CBS
Jimmy Martinez Correa
Jimmy holds a PhD in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA. His research interests lie at the heart of decision-making under uncertainty. He uses experimental economics, registry data, and econometric techniques to empirically test theories of behaviour under uncertainty. He studies how decision units like individuals, households, or firms make real-life decisions under uncertainty such as financial investing, saving for retirement, mortgage loans, and firm bankruptcy.
