James Barlow

Professor of Technology and Innovation Management (Healthcare), Imperial College Business School.

Professor Barlow was co-founder of the Innovation Studies Centre and is a member of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Innovation and associate director of Imperial College Health Partners. He is also president of the International Academy for Design and Health.

His research, teaching and consultancy focuses on the adoption, implementation and sustainability of innovation in healthcare systems. He also advises and consults for government, healthcare services and industry.

His latest book, Managing Innovation in Healthcare (2017), was published by World Scientific. He has a PhD from the London School of Economics.
