Copenhagen Business School and CBS Executive Fonden are proud to present Leadership for the Future – a unique executive program designed for experienced leaders who want to navigate uncertainty, balance strategy and agility, manage paradoxes, and build resilient organisations in a time of constant change.

The Background: CBS Leadership Think Tank

In 2023, the CBS Leadership Centre launched the Leadership for the Future Think Tank, gathering 50 senior executives, public leaders, NGO representatives, and CBS researchers. Through a series of workshops, they examined the shifting leadership context marked by climate change, digitalisation and AI, geopolitical tensions, and social transformation and released the report Leadership for the Future:

The Think Tank identified four crucial skill sets for future leaders:

  • Orchestrating Speed and Rhythm – balancing urgency with reflection and long-term strategy.

  • Enabling the Organisation – creating trust, empowerment, and collective responsibility.

  • Bridging Diversities – leveraging inclusion and collaboration across boundaries.

  • Sustaining Moral Compass – leading with integrity, purpose, and ethical judgment.

They also highlighted five organisational drivers – continuity, courage, creativity, coherence, and collaboration – as central to building resilient organisations
