In this Executive Morning Brief on sustainable leadership CBS Professor, Andreas Rasche, and Hans Reus, a Managing Director of the leadership advisory firm Russell Reynolds Associates, discuss how to identify and develop key competencies for sustainable leadership. Introduction

You will learn about four key questions that currently shape this discussion:

  1. Which kind of competencies are needed to navigate the continuously changing business-sustainability nexus?

  2. Do companies have a competence gap at the executive management and non-executive director level when it comes to sustainability?

  3. What can  executives and non-executives  do to develop leadership competencies that enable and support a sustainable business transformation?

  4. How can executives and non-executives select sustainable leaders?
