International Executive Programme - China
For executives and politically oriented professionals
CHINA’S POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC RISE
Take part in this 2nd run of the International Executive Programme China taking place in Copenhagen, Beijing and ChongQing. Please notice that the programme partly will be conducted in Danish.
The global scene is undergoing dramatic and historical changes when it comes to politics and economics. The dynamics between China, US and EU is shifting rapidly with major implications for nations, economies and businesses. Join us for this unique one-week programme in China with lectures, institutional and company visits and discussions and de-briefs that will give you a deeper understanding of how these tectonic changes will affect Danish public organisations and businesses.
In 2019 the programme will put emphasis on the following topics:
• The Chinese political system – current and future policies and implementation
• How economy, politics and culture affects decision-making in China
• Economic and political reforms in the era of President Xi Jinping – what does the future look like for China on the global political and economic scene?
• Regional (local) strategies for urbanisation, city development, and environmental challenges: The case of Chongqing, the world’s largest city.
• How will the West respond to the Chinese challenge?
We run the programme in collaboration with Chinese Universities and local partners. Furthermore, there will be visits to regional and local governmental organisations and state-owned companies to give a first-hand dialogue, experience and insights. The programme topics will be introduced and analysed through a mix of keynote lectures, discussions, and debriefings. The professors from Copenhagen Business School will ensure that sessions in China are connected to Danish and Scandinavian perspectives through wrap-ups and discussions.
